Recently we got to go to a Major League Soccer game at the new BBVA Compass stadium! The Houston Dynamo are actually a pretty good team, so it was exciting. Here's the stadium...

The Dynamo won the game... it was tied for a long time, so it was so fun when they got the winning goal!
I had never been to an MLS game before, and the atmosphere was just so fun! Goals don't happen all that often in soccer (it's not like football or baseball), so everyone was so excited when they scored (lots of cheering and waving flags and singing songs)!
Overall, it was just a great way to spend an evening, and it was FUN! We're already talking about going back for another game. Maybe we're becoming soccer fans? Haha.

With the Astros and Texans and Rockets all kind of stuck being mediocre teams, it's nice to have one Houston team that's actually doing well! Go Dynamo!
Looks like a lot of fun! We have a minor league (I think) soccer team here that I want to check out!

we went to a soccer game in france while we were studying abroad and totally didn't know that soccer matches can end in ties! we expected the game to go into overtime and were so confused why everyone was leaving. it was very anti-climatic!
