Last Saturday, Jeff and I road-tripped up to Irving, TX for the wedding of our good friend, Brianne. We drove up with Jeff's brother and his girlfriend, and it was fun to spend some time with them. Even after the four-hour drive, I'd say we all cleaned up pretty good! :o)

We stopped at Jeff's grandparents' house before the wedding to meet up with the rest of Jeff's family, and we somehow managed to get a pretty good family photo!
Brianne and Kevin got married at a hotel in Irving - outside ceremony and ballroom reception. Here's the beautiful ceremony site:
It was awfully hot and windy, but we stayed in the lobby until the last minute, the hotel gave us water on the way out, and the ceremony was really quick, so it wasn't bad at all!
It was a beautiful wedding! Brianne did everything in pink and green and butterflies (they even released butterflies at the end of the ceremony!). Here are some of the ceremony photos... I ended up sitting in horrible spot for taking pictures, so this is the best I could do!
Brianne's parents
Bridesmaids in mint green chiffon dresses, all different! The bouquets were all pink Gerbers, green hydrangeas, and green hypericum berries.
Beautiful bride! Giant dress and giant bouquet!
Such a pretty setting with the trees and water behind them!
Groomsmen had pink Gerber bouts, and the groom had a white calla.
You may kiss the bride!
Let's take a second to appreciate some of the details of the ceremony...
Lovely trifold programs with vellum belly bands...
Shepherds hooks with green and pink ribbons and adorable bubble vase arrangements!
Pink rose petals going down the aisle...
And of course, the bride's hair! Isn't this just beautiful??
After the ceremony we headed back into the hotel for the reception...
A candy buffet! We all know how much I love those... haha!
Seed paper favors tucked into place card envelopes. I love love love placecard envelopes. Envelopes are just so much cuter than paper cards for some reason! Seed paper favors seem to be a big trend this summer (at least here in Texas they are!).
The centerpieces were all pink Gerbers, green hydrangea, limes, and greenery. They did half short and half tall with pink and green runners and pink and green chair sashes.
Going along with the butterfly theme, the table numbers had little butterflies.
White-on-white icing and piping with green ribbon bottoms! So pretty!
Penguin bride and groom - Brianne has a Masters degree in marine biology and has done a lot of work with penguins.
Kevin's grooms cake! Too cute!
There was SO MUCH FOOD at this wedding. So many courses! The menu cards were adorable as well.
Cute personalized cocktail napkins for passed appetizers
Mmm, hors d'oeuvres!
This is the best photo I have of Brianne's dress. It's awful, I know, so you'll just have to trust me when I say it was a beautiful cream-colored gown that fit her just perfectly!
Jeff's mom blessed the food...
And then it was time to eat, dance, and have a great time!
All in all, this was my kind of wedding. Non-identical BM dresses, white-on-white piping on a tiered and ribboned cake, candy buffet, place card envelopes, tall and short centerpieces, served dinner... it had me remembering all my favorite things from our wedding! The outside ceremony, while hot, was just so gorgeous! I can't wait to see some pro photos because I'm sure they turned out just absolutely beautiful!
Congratulations Brianne and Kevin! We are so, so happy for you guys!
Whata beautiful wedding! Geez, Katie, now I cant wait to get married so I can have fun things too!
